A Handwhistler - Memories of Creativity and Activism, is about my childhood creative projects as well as my struggles during college and early adulthood. It includes only a small portion of my school-teaching experiences in Brooklyn during the early Seventies. It also describes a ten-year transformation in Portland that affected my life in positive and creative ways. Finally, the book tells of my development as a handwhistler who is still discovering and encouraging other handwhistlers.
